Transportation Overview
Free yellow bus transportation services are provided by your child’s School District of Residence based on the address on file with our school that matches your most recent Proof of Residency documentation.
Per district policies
- Eligibility for transportation services may be limited to a specific radius surrounding the location of the school.
- Requests for transportation must be received within two weeks of new enrollment and services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, capacity permitting.

Painesville City Local School District Transportation System
Painesville City Local School District (PCLSD) transportation eligibility is based on the distance from your child’s home residence to the school. Painesville City Schools offers Payment in Lieu for those families who qualify for transportation but that the school district is unable to transport to and from school.
How to Apply for Bus Services:

Please note that this is not a guarantee of transportation. This is a request, and each request will be processed on a case by case basis. If you have more than one student, please fill out this form for each student. You will receive a response with next steps within 5 to 7 business days of receipt of this form.
